We provide an excellent level of care in a friendly atmosphere and can offer both long term residential care and short term respite care.All our residents have their care needs assessed prior to admission in order to develop a regularly reviewed care plan. We treat all of our residents as individuals and cater for their needs accordingly whilst preserving their privacy and dignity.Located at plot 16A martry's way NTINDA, Nakawa Division , as the mother house, we also have other houses in different parts of Kampala Uganda, that is to say; , Kisaasi,KYANJA-KUNGU, Gayaza among others. SJEFATE Nursing Home is in quiet and relaxing locations, outside of the town centre close to the capital city. Ntinda is a large retirement town and is ideally suited for older people requiring nursing care.PHILOSOPHY OF CARESJEFATE Nursing Home is an example of a more progressive, open minded approach to residential care. Our residents are respected as individuals and we do our best to cater for their every need. We recognise that the necessity of moving into a nursing home and requiring help with personal tasks can feel like a loss of independence. We therefore do our best to ensure that this transition takes place with as little stress as possible.SJEFATE STAFFWe value our fully trained and friendly staff as our greatest asset, which is why we have excellent staff retention levels ensuring continuity of care for our residents, which enable special relationships to be formed between carers and residents. We provide 24 hour nurse coverage with additional trained nurse cover during the day. SJEFATE Nursing Home has also developed good support relationships with GPs and social workers in the local area.Our SJEFATE team of dedicated and experienced nurses and care assistants who work under the direction of our Administrator. They have been chosen for their caring skills and are thoughtful, calm compassionate, loving and kind.
