  Gift Of Life Clubs-Uganda is a charity peer to peer initiative of young people working in Gulu-Northern Uganda reaching out to and bringing together young people (aged 9-30years) of all walks of life with the main aim of mentoring and empowering them with value based life skills to help them make positive, informed decisions and choices that enhance responsible behavior with reverence to God and respect for humanity. Gift of life clubs also focuses on restoring respect for human life based on the Christian belief and teaching of the catholic church that Human Life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains forever in a special relationship with the creator, who is its sole End.Our work in this part of the country is inspired by the belief that all individuals and groups have the inherent capacity to change their attitudes, values and behaviors if they are supported from both within and without. Through our Leadership, empowerment and mentorship programs , we aim at reaching out to and engaging young people in Schools, villages, universities and vocational institutions, school drop outs, under skilled youth, un-employed youth, single parents and other community members to help and support them into making responsible choices regarding their lives and carriers so as to guide them into brighter, healthy and responsible lives for themselves and their families.
